About
I am an information technology professional (i.e. geek) currently residing in Baltimore, Maryland. For the past 8 years I have been involved in a startup that I co-founded which focused on developing web based CRM software for small service businesses. Currently, this startup is shutting down and I am seeking new opportunities, preferablly part time consulting in technology, publishing or associated fields. I love working with Internet scale projects that have potential to change the every day use of technology.
Along the way for the past 10 to 15 years, I have been involved in multiple aspects of computers, information technology and associated fields. Among the things I have done is write library and open source software, participate in standards organizations, kill spyware, try to solve the spam problem, troubleshoot networks, reprint books and write about technology. I also managed to get a bachelor degree and two master degrees, get married, open a publishing company and somewhat maintain a blog.
I am happily married to the most wonderful woman in the world and have two great kids. I am currently attending graduate school part time, and do consulting work as well as my various side projects and Judaica publishing business on a part time basis.
