I am an information technology professional (i.e. geek) currently residing in Baltimore, Maryland. I love working with Internet scale projects that have potential to change how we use technology every single day.
Along the way for the past 10 to 15 years, I have been involved in multiple aspects of computers, information technology and associated fields. Among the things I have done is write library and open source software, participate in standards organizations, kill spyware, try to solve the spam problem for the Internet as whole, troubleshoot networks, reprint books and write about technology. I also managed to get a bachelor degree and two master degrees, get married, open a publishing company and somewhat maintain a blog.I am happily married to the most wonderful woman in the world and have two three great kids.
I am currently employed at BioFortis, Inc., a bio-informatics / data exploration software vendor as a software developer and I am NOT available for any consulting/employment opportunities.
