Here is a list of my professional activities:

Internet Mark 2 Project, Former Member of the Advisory Board

2005-2006 

  • Provided guidance on projects related to the WGIG and future of the Internet

MTA Authorization Records in DNS (MARID) Working Group, part of IETF
Member: April 2004 – September 2004 (from WG’s inception until its closure)

  • Participated in development of new email standards and coordinated MARID/ASRG efforts

Anti-Spam Research Group (ASRG), part of the IRTF
Co-Chair: August 2003 – May 2004

  • Coordinated and managed all anti-spam research in the ASRG on behalf of the IETF and IRTF
  • Organized and supervised sub-groups, moderated the groups’ mailing lists ensuring relevant discussions
  • Participated in document development, review and publishing
  • Initiated and supervised technology transfer efforts between the ASRG and the IETF
  • Set general group policy to ensure progress
  • Organized and led weekly conference calls between the ASRG and six large ISPs (AOL, Microsoft, Yahoo, Earthlink, Comcast and British Telecom).

Internet Research Steering Group (IRSG), part of IRTF
Member: August 2003 – May 2004

  • Advised the IRTF chair on chartering of new research groups and other IRTF matters (RFC 2014)

Internet Book Database Working Group
Project Member: 2003-2004

  • Participated in discussions regarding making a free book database
  • Edited group documents and website
