The importance of backups

Today I learned the hard way why everyone should backup on a regular basis – after a very heavy session in Linux trying to get a very MSFT-ized program to run under WINE, I accidently deleted my email archive. Nine months of email – all down the drain…

Well, its time now to get rsync setup and a regular backup schedule.
