Google and Open Source
Posted March 17, 2005 – 5:29 pm by Yakov Shafranovich in TechnologyGoogle announced their new Google code open source center. Interestingly enough it is headed by Chris DiBona who founded SlashDot and Greg Stein who is the chairman of the Apache Foundation.
Considering the already large number of folks from Mozilla working for Google it is interesting to note how Google’s presence is now appearing in other open source projects.
