My First RFC

First draft published on February 2nd of 2005, RFC published on October 3rd, 2005 - total time from initial draft to RFC publication = 8 months of which 2 months was spent getting IESG approval (until April 5th, 2005) and 6 months in the RFC Editor’s queue.
