Track2rss v0.4.1 Released

Posted October 30, 2005 – 4:15 pm by Yakov Shafranovich in Programming, Projects

Since track2rss has not been updated in a while I decided to give it some new features. Changes included:

o Support for Gzip encoding of RSS output
o Support for A9’s OpenSearch technology
o Auto-guessing support (if you don’t provide a carrier type, it will try to guess it based on tracking number, doesn’t work for Fedex ground)

Planned changes include:
o Support for javascript output so it can be included in other webpages
o Support for mapping (either Google Maps or Yahoo)

You can download the new release (v0.4.1) from SourceForge.

P.S. Did I mentioned that the SourceForge Project page for track2rss includes a list of RSS feeds? There is also FreshMeat page as well.
