Blood Types in the Former USSR
Posted May 1, 2006 – 5:16 pm by Yakov Shafranovich in PersonalOne of the pleasures of parenthood is decoding vague medical information related to yourself. Being born in the former USSR, my blood type is referenced using a number rather then a letter (A, B, AB or O). I was unabled to find a ready reference for the conversion, so instead I added one to Wikipedia:
Group I (1) - O
Group II (2) - A
Group III (3) - B
Group IV (4) - AB
