“Private” Flag for RSS Feeds

Posted August 3, 2006 – 5:29 pm by Yakov Shafranovich in Website

Bloglines, a web based reader, just came up with a proposal to restrict RSS feeds:

The W3C has a similar (in spirit) proposal to use “?access-control?” instructions in XML standard itself. It restricts access by domain. This idea was also mentioned before by Greg Reinacker.

  2. Hi Yakov, thanks for entering my translation of Shmiras HaLashon. You should have great hatzlacha in spreading Torah. I noticed that when one clicks over the “buy” button next to Shmiras HaLashon they get a “lesson a day”. I appreciate pointing out that this is translated by me. Please note by the link that the “lesson a day” is a different translation than this one. Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Thanks,
    Robert
